Early Sunday morning, all kinds of rumors were flying around about 6ix9ine‘s hospitalization after getting robbed, pistol-whipped, and kidnapped in Brooklyn.

Later in the afternoon, 6ix9ine called in to speak with DJ Akademiks during his live stream on Twitch and explained that he had suffered “concussion trauma to the head” after getting knocked unconscious twice. “I’m fine,” he told fans at the beginning of the stream.

Speaking cryptically about who robbed and kidnapped him, 6ix9ine said, “It was an inside job.” Later he added, “It wasn’t no outside n***as. It’s n***as that know how the king of New York moves, you know what I’m saying? The only person that can get a Pharaoh in Egypt is the person who helped build the fuckin’ kingdom, you know what I’m saying? The n***a that’s right next to him. The n***a that know who built that shit, that got the blueprints.”

Comparing the situation to the robbery that lead to XXXTentacion’s death earlier this year, 6ix9ine said he chose to let the attackers get what they wanted from him instead of escalating things to the point that he could have died. “I’m just happy to be alive,” he said. “I look at the X situation and I’m just like, ‘That could have been me.'” 6ix9ine added, “That would have been the same situation if I didn’t give it up.”

“I might be on my 21 Savage shit,” 6ix9ine joked when Akademiks brought up the idea of replacing his stolen jewelry—referencing 21 Savage’s recent comments that he no longer wants to spend his money on expensive jewelry. 6ix9ine is rumored to have lost around $800,000 in cash and jewelry in the robbery.

When Akademiks asked 6ix9ine if this moment will make him reevaluate and tighten up his circle, he responded, “My circle been short, it’s just that I opened it with the wrong n***as.”

Following the stream, 6ix9ine shared a photo of XXXTentacion on Instagram and wrote, “As crazy as it sounds.. yesterday morning I had a feeling that it was my day to die. May GOD strike me dead if I’m lying. Everything happens for a reason. I know you was there. Nothing materialistic is more important then LIFE. I live to see another DAY. I get to see my daughter another day. No Hate Charge it to the streets.”

The 4:00 a.m. robbery took place hours after 6ix9ine shared his highly anticipated collaboration with Nicki Minaj, “FEFE.” Shortly after leaving the hospital, he released the song’s music video on his YouTube channel. You can see that below.
